What we are is a little more difficult to describe, but let us give it a try.
BarterNIC is a site that wants to help you make the most of your barter activity. We do this by creating a community that
is bigger than that of any single barter exchange. As a member of a barter exchange, you have easy access
to other members of your exchange. If a member of your exchange does not have what you are looking for, it can be difficult
to utilize your barter dollars to purchase those goods or services.
With members of many barter exchanges utilizing this site, you are more likely to find somebody willing to accept barter dollars
for what you need to purchase. In addition by placing your ad on this site you are more likely to sell your goods and services
to other potential customers.
So BarterNIC is making it easier to utilize your barter dollars and giving you the opportunity to promote your business to members
of other barter exchanges.
It is important to realize that when you are completing a transaction with members of other barter exchanges, the person making the purchase
will need to contact their barter exchange and request that they arrange the transaction with the barter exchange of the person making the sale.
BarterNIC is NOT involved in any transaction and that needs to be done through the normal channels with your respective barter exchanges.
In order to help you increase your barter business, we have a classified ads section wherer you can advertise your business, or search for
products and services that you need. We will also be launching a message board in the fall of 2006 where you will be able to discuss your
barter expreiences with other users of this website.
